No Problem is Unsolvable

There is no (good) problem that can't be solved. This starts with a clear understanding of the problem & where we need to go. From there, it's about the resources, structure, & systems required to execute.

Be Clear, not clever

Non-sense words, technical jargon, and acronyms slow down communication. Simple = decisive. Decisive = competitive advantage. Choose language that most efficiently gets to the point.

Use common Sense

If a rule doesn't make sense, contribute to progress, or apply to your specific situation -- avoid it. Always engage in common sense. Logic should be agnostic to conventional rules.

Simplicity drives progress

What is Operations Management?

Operations management involves understanding the systems, processes, structure and resources involved in running your business and the logic required to facilitate ongoing execution.

This can look like many things depending on the industry you serve & the model of your business. At it’s core, there is a formula to how businesses operate. Operations management engages in identifying that formula, the variables present in that formula, and the output as a result of the the dance between those two categories. For operators, mission informs direction, common sense informs strategy, systems inform execution, and data informs decisions.

Life requires our basic needs to be met. Sustainability requires that in the meeting of our basic needs, we do not deplete our resources. This dance of between basic needs & resource management require our cooperation and conscious action. The meeting of these three pillars (meet basic needs + conscious resource use + cooperation) ensure that we continue on our path of connected evolution.

Getting things done in the modern world requires conscious evolution of technology, a redistribution of disproportionally used resources (rewilding of natural areas), and education + community building so that the whole of humanity is empowered.

Do you offer Custom services?

Yes! Each engagement is unique. We will deliberate on the resources (system, structure, materials, people) and recommend the path forward that is most suitable for your situation.

The services section offers a basic structure for what we offer; but solutions we identify together will be custom to your needs.

We are committed to mutual success & understand that your situation may require a unique solution. We are open to unique compensation agreements; and can help to identify alternative pathways to meeting your goals.

What is critical path?

Critical path is the most important thing that needs to be addressed in order for your goal to be progressed forward. It is the current bottleneck of your business or idea.

Example, an unprofitable electric car company has 500,000 customers on the waitlist, but a production line than can only produce 1,000 cars per day. The critical path of the company would in this case be to increase the rate of the line, both to meet their customer demand (while it’s relevant) & to achieve the cost efficiencies that come with a higher production rate.
